The town of Stumm in the Zillertal is situated on the sunny side of the Zillertal and with a population of 1855 it is the third largest town in the holiday region of Fügen-Kaltenbach.
Set at 650m altitude and with an extensive range of leisure activities on offer, the town is an attractive holiday destination for families. Stumm in the Zillertal, home of world and Olympic champion Stephan Eberharter , welcomes you and your family in an idyllic setting and with his traditional, charming character.

Cuisine & Culture

In Stumm you will find traditional inns here along with Italian restaurants , among them Landgasthof Linde in the centre of Stumm. It is one of the oldest inns in Tyrol and indulges you with cuisine which is 'Hauben' standard, with delicious traditional 'pub grub' and speciality gourmet meals. Those who are self-catering are very well served with the local butcher, baker and the supermarket, while the patisserie has delicious cakes and tarts. Besides the attractive range of leisure activities available, Stumm is also a place of culture in the Zillertal. In summer the ' Kulturfestival Stummer Schrei' takes place here, which attracts visitors from near and far with a variety-packed programme consisting of cabaret, musical highlights and theatre.

In summer, Stumm in the Zillertal offers varied and exciting activities for the whole family . The tennis court, the bathing world Stumm as well as the new playground with go-karts for your children and a mini golf course can all be comfortably reached on foot and offer fun and variety for the whole family.

The bathing world Stumm offers a welcome refreshment, pure recreation and bathing fun on hot summer days for your children. The Erlebnistherme Zillertal spa complex invites you to spend relaxed hours of recreation where you can unwind and let your spirits flow all year round.

Sportive holiday-makers start their active tours with bicycle and mountain bike through the fantastic scenery in the Zillertal from here as well. When climbing in the high wire garden of the Zillertal adventure park or in the Zillertal climbing centre you can put your climbing talent to the test. There are also numerous hiking trails and tours of different degrees of difficulty that present themselves to hiking fans in Stumm and take you through the picturesque nature in the Zillertal. WINTER

With over 90 km of pistes, the Hochzillertal skiing area guarantees fun on the slopes for the whole family with its connection to the Hochfügen skiing area. Your children will learn the right skiing technique in a ski school, while you relax and take your turns on one of the many slopes.

In winter, the free ski bus from Stumm in the Zillertal takes you quickly and comfortably to the opposite top skiing area Hochzillertal, so you can start an exciting skiing day relaxed!

Our guest kindergarten „Zwergerl Club“ is available for all non-skiing children. They will be looked after lovingly throughout the day and can romp and play to their heart’s content. There is also a lot to see off the slopes in Stumm in the Zillertal: Romantic horse-drawn sleighrides, nightly winter hiking through snow-covered landscapes and fast tobogganing fun on one of the many toboggan runs await the whole family.
